New College Principal Announced

Masada College is thrilled to share exciting news of the appointment of our new College Principal. The Board of Management has conducted a rigorous recruitment process to find a principal who inspires a love of learning, upholds the core Jewish values, is dedicated to achieving the highest academic outcomes and exhibits a strong drive to contribute to the continuous growth of Masada College.

The College is delighted to announce the appointment of new College Principal, Mrs Raquel Charet, who will formally commence her role in Term 1, 2024. Mrs Charet grew up predominantly in Sydney, attending Yeshivah College (now known as Kesser Torah College) and then relocated to Melbourne where she graduated from Beth Rivkah Ladies College. Having obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Jewish Studies, a Master of Teaching (Secondary), a Master of Science (Coaching Psychology), all from the University of Sydney, and an Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Management, Mrs Charet is a highly qualified educator. Mrs Charet has over 10 years’ experience as a Principal, first at Sydney Montessori School and most recently, Georges River Grammar, where she has held the role of Principal for five years, leading a Kindergarten to Year 12 school of over 900 students.

“I have a passion for outstanding academic achievement and well-rounded education and I am elated to return to a Jewish community school. I am looking forward to working with staff, parents and students to take Masada on the next chapter and continue to build the College from strength to strength.” – Raquel Charet

We warmly welcome Mrs Charet to the Masada College community and wish our entire leadership team hatzlacha in guiding our fabulous school through this next chapter.
