The Year 8 Creative Arts Day was an interactive ex

The Year 8 Creative Arts Day was an interactive experience combining Music, Visual Arts and Drama. The theme for this year was ‘Commedia dell'arte’, which is an early form of Italian comedy. Students created their own masks then scripted and performed their own plays.
"My mask was the face of a character called 'El Capitano' which means 'The Captain'. I was quite nervous for the performance but it went better than expected. It was a really fun experience and I hope next year's Year 8 students enjoy it as well!" David Milford Year 8

Year 6 had an enriching session as part of Harmony

Year 6 had an enriching session as part of Harmony Day when the students from Corpus Christi Catholic School and their priest, Father Greg, came to visit Masada. Together with Rabbi Lewin, the group discussed how we can celebrate our differences and take action in our local community.

The Kindergarten 2022 Transition Program has start

The Kindergarten 2022 Transition Program has started with our Year 5 students visiting the Early Learning Centre to have lunch, spend time reading and connecting with our Masada Cottage 4 Year old classes. Lunch Box Buddies is a very special event and the care shown by our Year 5 students to the ELC children is beautiful to watch.

It has been wonderful to see the many Pesach experiences across the Junior and Senior School over the last week. From Chorset making, plague trivia, tastings and bringing the ten plagues to life. Our students have been immersed in this important Jewish holiday and it was a treat to have our families back on campus. Wishing everyone a Chag Kasher V'Somayach!

This week we held special Pesach celebrations at the ELC with the children and their families. It was a fantastic opportunity for the children to sing, dance and share their learning of the Pesach story. They prepared Haggadah, Afikomen bags and cups for Eliyahu HaNavi for their Pesach Seder. It was a wonderful experience for all!

Dr Marissa Bond from Lumination's STEM Innovation LAB program enabled our Year 7 students to solve real world problems around the topic of accessibility. Students explored the right of all to fundamental human needs and disability barriers. Collaborating in pairs students developed stories using VR technology to create and communicate their learning.
