Mrs Raquel Charet

College Principal

The College Principal is appointed by the Board and has overall responsibility for leading the implementation of the strategic direction and management of the College. Supported by the College Executive, the College Principal provides strong leadership, excellent academic education, a safe learning environment and instils the Jewish values of the College.

Rabbi Paul Lewin

College Rabbi

The College Rabbi is responsible for the spiritual and religious life of the College community. The College Rabbi is fundamental in supporting and educating staff, students and families on the Jewish ethos and requirements of the College. By creating a welcoming and supportive environment, the College Rabbi allows each member of the College community to explore and deepen their connection to faith and religion.

Mr Ryan Gill

Deputy Principal and 

Head of Senior School

The Deputy Principal supports the College Principal in the management of the College, particularly regarding leading improvement, innovation and change. The Head of Senior School leads the Senior School staff in providing exceptional academic education and student wellbeing, while also fostering positive engagement with parents and the wider community. This role has a responsibility to instil the Jewish ethos of the College and ensure the strategic objectives of the College are achieved.

Mrs Karen Gunasekara

Head of Junior School

The Head of Junior School leads both the Early Learning Centre and Junior School staff in providing exceptional academic education and student wellbeing, while also fostering positive engagement with parents and the wider community. This role has a responsibility to instil the Jewish ethos of the College and ensure the strategic objectives of the College are achieved.

Shterny Dadon

College Head of Jewish Life

ELC to Year 12

The College Head of Jewish Life oversees formal and informal Jewish learning, aligning with the broader strategic vision. Guiding day-to-day operations, the role collaborates closely with the head of Jewish Life and Experiential Learning, inspiring students to embrace Jewish traditions and values and making Judaism their own. The emphasis is on fostering middot/character development, instilling a love for Israel and cultivating a sense of communal and global responsibility, and empowering each student to become ‘a beacon of light unto the nations’.

Marietta Ross

Business Administrator

The Head of Business Administration is responsible for both the financial management and the administrative and operational functions of the College. Encompassing a wide range of responsibilities including financial reporting, strategic planning and optimizing processes, the Business Administrator aims to ensure the smooth functioning and success of the College.

Mrs Jen Grace

Head of Learning and Teaching

Years 7 to 12

The Head of Learning and Teaching in the Senior School supports the College Principal, Deputy Principal and Head of Senior School to provide excellent academic education for all students. This role has specific responsibility for the implementation and management of the New South Wales curriculum in the Senior School, as well as assisting teachers to achieve excellence in their learning and teaching practice. This role is also responsible for driving change and innovation within the Senior School.

Ms Carla Gagliano

 Head of Learning and Teaching

ELC to Year 6

The Head of Learning and Teaching in the Junior School supports the College Principal, Deputy Principal and Head of Junior School to provide excellent academic education for all students. This role has responsibility for the implementation and management of the New South Wales curriculum from Kindergarten to Year 6, as well as supporting teachers to incorporate learning and teaching approaches that are centered around the school’s culture of thinking philosophy.

Head of Academic Care

Years 7 to 12

The Head of Academic Care in the Senior School oversees and coordinates various aspects of academic support and student wellbeing to ensure students thrive both academically and emotionally. This role works collaboratively with all stakeholders to develop programs, monitor progress and promote a supportive environment that fosters both academic achievement and student wellbeing in the Senior School.

ELC to Year 6

The Head of Academic Care ELC to Year 6 oversees and coordinates various aspects of academic support and student wellbeing to ensure students thrive both academically and emotionally. This role works collaboratively with all stakeholders to develop programs, monitor progress and promote a supportive environment that fosters both academic achievement and student wellbeing in the Early Learning Centre and Junior School.

Mrs Robyn Cohen

ELC Coordinator

The Early Learning Centre Coordinator is responsible for leading Masada Cottage in providing a nurturing and enriching environment that supports early development and learning in young children. The role includes educational leadership, staff management, safety and compliance, program administration, parent and community engagement as well as instilling the Jewish ethos of the College and driving the achievement of the strategic objectives within the Early Learning Centre.

Mrs Glynnis De Klerk

ELC Educational Leader

The Educational Leader is responsible for leading the curriculum across the Early Learning Centre and fostering an holistic approach that caters to the unique needs of every child. This role works with the Early Learning Centre educators to support them in the development and implementation of their program and communication with families.
