What an awesome Book Week celebration today! We embraced this year’s theme ‘Read, Grow, Inspire’ by dressing up as our ‘future selves’. The children were encouraged to disregard logic and instead use their imaginations to find characters, professions and people who are not usually represented on dress-up days but are very inspiring.
Andrew MacDonald, author of the very popular Real Pigeon books came to speak to the children about writing his novels and our trivia game unearthed some serious literary champions. Book Week was loads of fun!
